About us:
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of **Contracts Manager**.The Contracts Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company achieves corporate, governmental and customer contractual terms, policies, processes, and performance requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Serves as the primary company interface with the customer to review, negotiate and establish contractual commitments and to ensure that contractual requirements and deliverables are achieved on time.
* Advises and guides the company and program teams on contractual duties to ensure company compliance.
* Evaluates solicitations and contracts, drafts and finalizes pricing, contractual terms and proposal language to capture new business.
* Assists subcontract management teams in determining contractual terms for supplier performance.
* Reviews contractual and company documentation for conformance with polices, practices and standards to meet business objectives in compliance with company policy, law and regulation.
* Negotiates pricing and proposal terms, contract modifications, claims and agreements.
* Serves as company representative in DCAA proposal pricing audits and customer fact-finding activities.
* Interfaces with DCMA on contract performance, WAWF and delivery reporting.
* Responsible for performance, funding and payments on assigned contracts.
* Reviews RFPs/RFQs to assist the proposal team in interpreting and understanding customer requirements, key cost drivers and potential risks.
* Provides direct support to the capture team in the pursuit of new business.
* Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management or related field. Advance graduate degree preferred.
* Minimally 7 plus years of experience in contract administration, with government cost accounting environment background. Must have experience managing a variety of contract types
* Certification in Contracts Management highly desired.
* International contracting experience a plus.
* Must have ability to travel domestically and internationally.
* Ability to obtain Security Clearance and ATF background check approval.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have familiarity with Microsoft Office software:Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Outlook, etc.
* Highly skilled in Deltek Costpoint.
* Working experience with WAWF, iRAPT
* Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs), Uniform Commercial Code, Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and other federal and state legislation and regulations.
* Strong analytical and communication skills and good presentation, leadership and team-building skills
* Applies independent judgement and creativity to resolution of contract issues and has proven negotiation skills
* Knowledge of international business management terms and International Traffic in Arms Regulations
* Quickly adjusts to changing priorities and copes effectively with complexity and change
